Robert "Tito" Romero

Robert “Tito” Romero, 65, a resident of Lyden, passed away on April 10, 2019. He was preceded in death by his wife Arlene Romero; parents, Eloy “Bobby” and Orlinda Romero, adopted parents Papa and Mama, sister, Patsy Lara and brother-in-law Anthony Fresquez. Robert was a caretaker at El Mirador and worked at Rescare, Dixon Senior Center and was a carpet layer. He enjoyed fishing and being in the mountains in which he loved to hunt. Friends and family state, he was always generous and was always giving small gifts such as fresh fruit or baked goods. Robert is survived by his siblings; Larry (Sherice), Kenny (Cynthia Archuleta), Jimmy, and David Romero (Becky) and Mildred Montoya, nieces and nephews; Anthony, Lawrence, Michael, Stavean, Jaxson, Lukas, Kenny Jr (Denise), Melody Love and Kiana, Jolene Casados (Darren), Darien, Damien, Roseanna Archuleta, Vanessa Inzunza (Gaspar), Gaspar Jr, David Jr, Jason, Gina Lara, Miranda Myer, Evelyn and Marrisa Lara, Kennedy Ortiz and Julian; companion Molly Trujillo and sister in law; Nancy Archuleta and Cindy. Rosary will be recited on Wednesday May 1, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Velarde. Funeral service will be held on June 8, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. also at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Velarde with burial to follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Cemetery.  The family of Robert “Tito” Romero has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley. 505-747-7477
