Roberto "Berto" Villela-Partida

Roberto “Berto” Villela Partida, 26, resident of Chimayo, passed away Saturday October 9, 2021. Roberto was born August 5, 1995 in Espanola, NM. Roberto loved working on his cars, watching anime, and spending time with his cat “Panda”.
Roberto was preceded in death by his baby brother Lorenzo Daniel Muñoz and Carlos Garcia who was like a second father to Roberto.
Roberto is survived by his parents Manuel Villela and Patricia Partida. Siblings Victor, Diana, and Marcos Villela. Second family Gina and Jessica Martinez, Carl and Eric Garcia.
Roberto had such a contagious smile and would light up any room with his funny jokes and crazy, dorky personality. Although his life was short, his memories will live on in all of our hearts. He will be missed dearly by all of his friends and family. We want to thank all of the community for all of your help in making this difficult time a little easier. Manuel Villela, Marcos Villela, Eric Garcia, Lorenzo Muñoz, Memo Cervantes, Cesar Muñoz, Jared May, and Alejandro Rodriguez will serve as Pallbearer. Patricia Partida, Jessica Martinez, Diana Villela, and Carl Garcia will serve as honorary pallbearers.
A public viewing will take place Thursday, October 28, 2021 @ 6:00 pm in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to follow at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church on Friday October 29, 2021 at 11 am.
