Richard Valentin Age - 60 El Rito Jaramillo

Richard Valentin Jaramillo – also known as Security, 60, a resident of El Rito passed away on Monday, May 23, 2011 after a sudden unexpected illness, surrounded by his loving family and his dog, Panda. Richard worked for 25 years at Center Market and at Cities of Gold Casino for 6 years. He worked at El Rito Elementary School for 8 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting, camping & taking rides through the town of El Rito. Richard was a much loved father, grandfather & friend, and will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his son, Dion Jaramillo; father, Guzman Jaramillo Sr.; father-in-law, Zacarias Martinez. Richard is survived by his wife Diana Jaramillo of El Rito; son, Felix Jaramillo and companion Nadine Cordova of El Rito; daughter, Anita Jaramillo and companion Joey Romero of El Rito; mother, Julia Jaramillo of El Rito; brother/sisters: Guzman Jaramillo and wife Porfiria of El Rito, Bernice Sena and husband Nick of Ojo Caliente, Carmen Campos and husband Eddie of El Rito and Antonio Jaramillo of El Rito; mother-in-law, Eva Martinez of Ojo Caliente; brother-in-law/sisters-in-law: Alma Rocha of Ojo Caliente, Mandy Esrontrias and husband John of Denver, CO; Sandra Lopez and husband Gilbert and Troy Martinez both of Ojo Caliente; grandchildren: Jasmine Jaramillo, Cruz Jaramillo, Trinidad Jaramillo, Destiny Jaramillo – whom was being raised by Richard and Diana and Leticia Romero all of El Rito; numerous nephews/nieces, godchildren & other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at San Juan Nepomuceno Catholic Church in El Rito. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 26, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at San Juan Nepomuceno Catholic Church with Fr. Pat Chavez celebrant with burial to follow at El Rito Catholic Cemetery with the following serving as a pallbearer will be, Robert Borrego; honorary pallbearers: his son, son-in-law, grandchildren, brothers & brothers-in-law.
