Richard L. - Age 64 - Santa Clara Pueblo Ebelacker

Richard L. Ebelacker – Age 64 a resident of Santa Clara Pueblo passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 following a short illness. Richard was born in Santa Clara Pueblo on March 13, 1946. He was preceded in death by his parents: Virginia and Robert Ebelacker; grandparents who raised him: Margaret and Alcario Tafoya; and uncles: Lee Tafoya, Roger Tafoya and Mela Youngsblood. Richard was an award winning potter from Santa Clara Pueblo. He loved Santa Clara, his grandson, Niko and his dog, Gauge. He is survived by his wife, Yvonne Ebelacker of Santa Clara Pueblo; sons: Jerome Ebelacker and Jason Ebelacker both of Santa Clara Pueblo; grandson, Niko Ebelacker of Santa Clara Pueblo; in-laws: Claudio and Maria Ortiz of Nambe; brother, James Ebelacker of Santa Clara Pueblo; and numerous other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Thursday, June 24, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at the Residence of Margaret Tafoya in Santa Clara Pueblo. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 25, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. at the Santa Clara Pueblo Catholic Church with Father Larry Brito officiating. Burial will follow at the Santa Clara Pueblo Cemetery. The family of Richard L.
