Richard Maestas

Richard (Dick) Maestas 92, A resident of Chili, N.M. was born October 15, 1929, went to be with the Lord October 23, 2021.  Richard was Preceded in death by his wife of 71 years Florence Eva Maestas; Parents Pablo and Antonia Maestas; siblings Andres, Antonio, Gilbert, Simon, Gasper, Inez, Armando.

Richard loved his family, fishing and visiting with his grandchildren and neighbors.  Richard retired from Boeing after 34 Years.

Richard is survived by his children, Andy Maestas, Danny Maestas, Geri Marrujo, and Mary Lou Ortiz; 10 grandchild and 28 great grandchildren; brothers Margarito and Reyes; sisters Mary Herrera, Olivia Salazar, and Nettie Vigil.

Public visitation will take place on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at 9:30 a.m in Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home with rosary to follow at 10:00 a.m and Memorial service at 10:30 a.m in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home. Burial will take place at 12:45 p.m at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
