Richard Arlen Trujillo

Richard Arlen Trujillo born March 27, 1977. He left this earth on June 21, 2024.

He was preceded in death by his father Robert Trujillo, grand parents Ted and Andrea Crouch, and Matildo and Ida Trujillo. 

He is survived by his mother Brenda Lujan and her husband Paul Lujan of Edgewood, NM; his sister Amber Vizcarra and her husband Marco Vizcarra, and their children Matthias and Matilda Vizcarra of Des Moines, IA; his brother Zachary Trujillo his wife Amanda Maes and their children Fionna and Tristan Trujillo of Sandia Park, NM; his uncle Ted Crouch and wife Carol Crouch, of Corrales, NM and their children Kendall Crouch and his partner Karisa Gagnon of West Hollywood, CA, Taylor Pierce and her husband David Pierce of Boston, MA; his uncle Dan Crouch and his wife Cindy Crouch of Rio Rancho, NM, and their children Danny Crouch and his wife Celia McKinnon of Philadelphia, PA, Katie Crouch and her husband Calvin Farmer of Albuquerque, NM, Patrick Crouch and his partner Maria Mata of Rio Rancho, NM; his aunt Joesphine Trujillo of Albuquerque, NM, her daughter Nieve Gallegos and husband David Gallegos along with their son Diego Gallegos of Albuquerque, NM, his uncle Steve Trujillo and wife Barbara Trujillo of Albuquerque, NM, their children Jessica Solon and husband Mike Solon along with their children of Albuquerque, NM, Steven Trujillo and wife Maurria Whipple-Trujillo and their children of Albuquerque, NM. While these are his immediate family members, Richard embraced many people in his life who he loved as family. 

More than anything Richard loved his entire family. He had a loving heart and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone that needed it. He loved sports (whether playing or watching), camping, fishing and hunting. He loved old time country music and John Wayne. Richard worked with senior citizens, and he loved listening to their stories. He loved cooking for everyone, and letting everyone know that he thought he almost always knew best.

Richard had an impact on so many people’s lives, in many different ways. He will be loved always and missed forever.

A Memorial Service will take place on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at DeVargas Funeral Home in Espanola, NM, in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel at 6:00 pm.
