Richard - Age 78 - Casa Grande Hughes

RICHARD HUGHES, 78, a resident of Casa Grande, passed away on Tuesday, July 6, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother. Richard was a proud Korean War Veteran. His hobbies were woodworking and driving his R.V. across country. He shared his love of woodworking, volunteering his time and talents to churches and schools. Mr. Hughes is survived by his wife of 55 years, Carmen; sister, Dolores Kraft of North Dakota; 5 nephews; 4 nieces; 17 grand nephews and nieces and numerous other relatives and friends. A devotional service will be held on Sunday, July 11, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. Funeral service will begin on Monday, July 12, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. at Valley View United Methodist Church in Española. Burial to follow at 11:30 a.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. The Hughes family has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.\r\n
