Rebecca "Becky" Age - 50 - Español Salazar

Rebecca “Becky” Salazar, 50, a resident of Española passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 18, 2013. She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Salazar; brother-in-law, Joey Martinez; Contessa’s partner, Desiree Pacheco. Becky was a person who was free willed, very outspoken, down to earth, loving, caring and free spirited. She loved music and cruising. She especially loved her children with all her heart. Becky is survived by her children: Contessa Salazar of Española, Teresita Martinez of Cordova; mother, Bonnie Salazar of Española; grandchildren: Elena, Jerome and Matthew Martinez, Nathaniel Pacheco and Jayden Lujan; brother, Ray Salazar of Española; sister, Theresa Martinez of Española; numerous other loving relatives & friends. Memorial mass will be celebrated on Monday, April 29, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada with burial to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. The family of Rebecca “Becky” Salazar have entrusted the care of their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
