Raymond Manzanares Jr. (38) went home to be with our Dear Lord on August 1st, 2026. 

Ray was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joe and Rose Manzanares, and his maternal grandparents, Fermin and Corrine Martinez, as well as his parents, Raymond Manzanares Sr. and Nadine Martinez. 

Ray is survived by his lifetime partner and the mother of his children, Sonja Hinz; his daughter, Aaliyah Manzanares; his son, Ray Manzanares III; and his daughter, Ellie Manzanares. He is also survived by his sisters, Nicole Martinez (Jose Ortega) and Rosanna Manzanares (Andres Medina); his brother and best friend, Martin Manzanares (Sonya); his nieces, Mariah, Marissa, Kayleen, and Anastasia; and his nephews, Joey Jr., Andres Jr. III, Juan, Sitka, and Angel. He leaves behind his great-nieces and great-nephews, Angelynn, Julian, Zeke, Ryan, Zaniyah, Jaxon, and Alyanna, as well as countless friends whom he considered brothers and sisters. 

Ray had the biggest heart and always lent a helping hand to his loved ones. He had a great sense of humor and was a pleasure to be around. He loved his family so much; they were his pride and joy. He loved the Raiders and, most of all, loved spending time with his pals. He made an impact on every person he met. He was an amazing dad, husband, brother, friend, and uncle. Ray will be greatly missed by everyone in his life. He truly was a wonderful man to everyone he surrounded himself with.
