Randy Age - 36 - La Mesilla Lopez

Randy Lopez, 36, a resident of La Mesilla passed away on Sunday, April 15, 2012. He was a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed cruising his caddy & his Harley. He loved spending time with his family and friends, and loved the time he spent fishing. He was very fond of his mother’s red chili and fresh tortillas. He was preceded in death by his father, Alberto Lopez, Jr. Randy is survived by his mother, Eufelia Lopez of La Mesilla; sisters: Alberta Lopez and companion Elias Castillo of Española, Yvonne Meza of Española, April Lopez and companion Carlos Zubia of Cuauhtémoc, Chihuahua, Mexico; nephews: Noel Ruiz of Española, Rafael Ochoa of Amarillo, TX, Gabriel and Carlos Escarcega of Velarde; nieces: Mirna Maldonado of Amarillo, TX, Nanci Escarcega of Cuauhtémoc, Chihuahua, Mexico and Alexias Lopez (goddaughter) of Española; great nieces/nephews: Justin Rojas (godson), Amber Rojas, Xzavier Ruiz, Noel Ruiz Jr., Isaiah Ruiz, Nathaniel, Christian and Brianna Ochoa all of Amarillo, TX, D’Anna and Donald Ruiz of Cuarteles, Ivan Cervantes of Cuauhtémoc, Chihuahua, Mexico; uncle: Henry Lopez and wife Susie of Alcalde. Public visitation will be held on Friday, April 20, 2012 at 5:30 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel at DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a devotional to follow at 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Canada with burial to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Justin Rojas, Noel Ruiz, Edward Padilla, Daniel Lopez, Jonathon Cordova, Fred Baca, David Martinez, Monce Chavez, Rafael Ochoa; honorary pallbearers: Gabriel and Carlos Escarcega, Noel Ruiz Jr., Isaiah Ruiz, Thomas Castellano, Adrian Romero, Elias Castillo, Martin Escarcega, Alexias Lopez, Nanci Escarcega, Orlando Lopez Jr., Richard Saiz and Carmen Esther Valdez.
