Ramon Chavez Calderon

RAMON CHAVEZ CALDERON, 71, a resident of Española, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 following a lengthy illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pedro and Angela Chavez Calderon and brother, Jesus Maria Chavez. Ramon enjoyed working on puzzles and visiting with family. He worked at the Ohkay Owingeh Casino for 10 years and worked odd jobs throughout his life until he became ill. Mr. Chavez Calderon is survived by his spouse, Baudelia Gonzales; brothers and sisters, Nazario, Monserratt, Elias and Abelardo Chavez, Pedro Guerrero Pinela, Anita and Elodia Chavez and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to be recited at 8:00 p.m. The family of Ramon Chavez Calderon has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
