Ralph C. Martinez, 56, a life-long resident of Chimayo was called home by our Lord and Savior on August 22, 2026 after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Ralph was born on February 3, 1970 to Cornelo & Rosita Martinez.

Ralph was a dedicated father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend to many. Ralph was known for being loving, kind, and an all-around genuine person. Ralph was a faithful servant of God, who instilled the same faith within his children and grandchildren. He was a LANL employee for nearly 40 years, where he made lifelong friendships. During his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, watching the 49ers, and going to the casino.

Ralph was proceeded in death by his mother Rosita “Rose” Martinez, paternal grandparent/God-parents Isidoro & Adonelia Martinez, maternal grandparents Tomas & Eliza Martinez, mother-in-law, Dolores Roybal, and many other family and friends.

Ralph is survived by his father Cornelio Martinez; children Kimberly Salazar (Leon), Janel Martinez, and Rafel Martinez (McKenna), grandchildren who lovingly called him “Pa” Leon and Malachi Salazar, Alaiah and Eijah Martinez, Julian Montoya; mother of his children Debbie Martinez; siblings Lori Duran (Johnny), Jennifer Honaberger (David), Cornelio Martinez Jr (Melanie); God-children Erika Sanchez, Kaitlyn Honaberger, and Isaiah Martinez; including many other family members and friends.

A devotional services will be held at Victory Faith on Friday, September 4, 2026 at 10:00 AM, burial to follow at El Bueno Pastor Cemetery in Chimayo.
