Priscilla Sanchez

PRISCILLA SANCHEZ, 79, a resident of Peñasco, passed away on Friday, August 4, 2017 following a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Sanchez, Sr.; son, baby Sanchez; parents, Amador and Margarita Trujillo; sister, Evelyn Trujillo Gonzalez and grandson, Alex Vigil. Priscilla enjoyed cooking, dancing, joking and spending time with family and friends. She will be missed dearly. Mrs. Sanchez is survived by her children, Eileen and Teofilo Quezada, David and Lynda Sanchez, Benjamin Jr. and Annette Sanchez, and Louise Leyba; grandchildren, Jerome Vigil, David, Jr., Roxanne and Amaris Sanchez, Amanda Cordova, Nicole, Benjamin III and Hailey Sanchez, Nelson Leyba, Jr., LeeAnn Valdez, Manuel and James Leyba; 19 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; brothers and sisters, Alfonso and Jewl Trujillo, Lee and Tiny Trujillo, Stella Padilla, Tina Gonzales, Manuel and Denise Trujillo, Florie Lindsay, Bernie and Frank Lopez, Elmer and Patsy Trujillo, Norma and Dan Apodaca and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at the San Antonio Catholic Church in Peñasco. Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated on Friday, August 11, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. also at the San Antonio Catholic Church in Peñasco. Burial to follow at 2:15 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers, Nelson Leyba, Jr., David Sanchez, Jr., Raymond Romero, Elmer Trujillo, Ben Sanchez III and Jerome Vigil. The family of Priscilla Sanchez has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
