Priscilla R. Herrera, 88, a resident of Cuyamungue, was born on April 4, 1933 and was called home to be with our Heavenly Father on December 4, 2021. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She worked for the First National Bank of Santa Fe for 16 years and also worked for the Pueblo of Pojoaque for a few years. She was very generous and donated to several charities throughout her life. She was a devoted catholic where she was a parishioner at Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe Church, Pojoaque, NM.

Priscilla was preceded in death by her husband, Gabriel A. Herrera, her parents Filemon and Vicentita Romero, in laws Felix and Adelina Herrera, brother and sister in laws, Florinda Romero (Pete) of Antonito, CO, Teodoro Herrera (Stella) of Espanola, niece Arlene Romero of Antonito, CO, grandson Andrew Herrera, great granddaughter Nevaeh Cordova and several other family members.

Priscilla is survived by her sons: Clarence Herrera (Mindy), Lawrence Herrera (Donna), David Herrera (Ella), daughters: Lorraine Johnson, Doreen Roybal, 15 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren. Sister, Jane Martinez (AB) and brother in law, Raymond Romereau. Serving the family as pallbearers will be Clarence Herrera, Jr., Lawrence Herrera, Jr., Richard Herrera, Miguel Herrera, Gary C. Johnson, and Justin Roybal. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Lujan, Lee Cordova, Chris Garcia, Patrick O’Neill, Isaiah Duran, Estevan Lujan, Joaquin Lujan, Noah Cordova, Clyde Romereau, Thomas Romereau, Gary Romero, Randy Sanchez, Gilbert Estrada, Pete Romero, Charles Romero, Reuben Romero, Terrence Archunde, Ted Herrera, and Michael Herrera.

A viewing will take place on Wednesday, January 5th at 4:00 pm at the DeVargas Funeral Home of Espanola. Rosary at 9:30am and Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe Catholic Church, Pojoaque, NM at 10:00 am on January 6th, 2021. Burial will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
