Presilliano Gurule

Presiliano Gurule, 84, a resident of Espanola and formerly of Vallecitos, NM, lost his courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease.  Pres was born on July 12, 1938, and was reunited with his wife Ophilia in the kingdom of heaven on March 24, 2023. 

Pres loved his family, friends, pets, gardening, exploring and just getting out and talking to people during his daily adventures.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. 

Pres was preceded in death by his loving wife Ophilia Gurule, parents Evaristo and Martina Gurule, brother Abel Gurule, and brother Leo Gurule. 

He is survived by his son, Jason Gurule and companion Bonnie Ramos; daughter Tina Maree Lopez and husband Timmy; Grandchildren: Larrisa Archuleta and husband AJ, Tammie Lopez and companion Joel Martinez, Eric Lopez, David Anthony Gurule and wife Jeri, Evelyn Maestas and husband Josh; Great-Grandchildren:  Sophie and Samuel Archuleta, Jordan and Aliyah Lopez, Zoey and Noemi Gurule; Special cousin: Mary Francis; brother Gilbert Gurule, sisters Mary Corine Pacheco and Mary Jane Rael, nieces, nephews, numerous other relatives, as well as two sisters who will not be acknowledged. 

Burial has taken place and Presiliano and Ophilia Gurule have been laid to rest together, for eternity, exactly as they wanted to be.
