Pita - Age 87 - Rio Rancho/Española - Lujan

Pita Lujan, 87, a resident of Rio Rancho formerly of Española passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2011. Mrs. Lujan along with her husband, Jim Lujan owned and operated Lujan’s Funeral Home in Española for almost 40 years. She attended Victory Faith Church for a number of years. She will be remembered for her unique personality. Mrs. Lujan was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Lujan. She is survived by her children: Frances Vela and husband Gilbert of Albuquerque, Yolanda Wilson and husband Terry of Milan, NM; Jimmy Lujan Jr. of Albuquerque; brothers: Lee Lovato and wife Betty of Santa Fe, Roger Lovato and wife Andrea of Santa Fe; grandchildren: caretaker and grandson, Daniel Roybal and wife Anita of Rio Rancho; Carlos Roybal of Denver, CO; David Lujan of Albuquerque, Adam Valerio of Albuquerque, Rey Lujan of Dalhart, TX; Gilbert Vela Jr. and wife Eloisa of Albuquerque and Marcos Vela and wife Reina of Albuquerque; great-grandchildren: Danielle, Jewelysa and Makayla Roybal, Reissa and Nadine Vela; numerous other loving relatives & friends. Memorial service will be held on Friday, June 24, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at victory Faith Church with Pastor John Hall officiating. Private burial to follow.
