Pete Martinez

Pete S Martinez 29, a resident of La Villita passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents Peter and Karen Martinez. Grandparents Seferino and Pelegrina Pele Martinez, Lala Gonzales and Horacio Montoya: Uncles Lawrence and Tito Martinez, Levi Sandoval, brother Stevie Lopez and various aunts, uncles and cousin from the Gonzales family.

Pete was raised by his grandma Pelegrina Pele Martinez, Pete was her consentido.

Pete is survived by his sons, Peter Martinez, and Carlos Archuleta of Albuquerque; siblings Kathleen Martinez (Julian Garcia), Adrian Velarde (Kristin Rivera), John Paul Martinez, Anita and Steve Lopez, Valerie Martinez (Sal Mares), Nicole Gonzales, Frances Blea (Billy Rivera) His only and favorite nephew Luke Martinez.

Auntie Lillian Martinez who also raised Pete. Tia Nancy and Danny Torres, Auntie Judy and Frankie Romero, aunt Angie and Charlie Trujillo, Uncle Manuel and Margaret Gonzales, Annette and Johnny Sanchez.

Family member that held a special place in Pete heart, Javan and Anjeanine Lopez, Juanito, Jerome and Audrey Sanchez. Special cousins Jenae Lopez, Santana Martinez, Santi Chavez, Dezerae Mares, Pam Torres and Orlando Chavez and Auburn’ Sky Rivera and various cousins and loved ones.  A rosary will be held on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. Memorial mass will be held on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Annes Catholic Church in Alcalde. The family of Pete S.
