Percy Gonzales

Percy Gonzales was born on November 22, 1946, in Embudo, NM, to Lauriano and Estefanita Gonzales. Percy moved to Dixon after he married his wife Angelina, where he lived with his family for the remainder of his life. After a long illness Percy went to rest on March 13, 2024. 

He was preceded in death by his spouse of 35 years Angelina Gonzales, stepson that he raised as a son Jeffrey L. Brown, step-grandson Jeffrey R. Brown, his baby sister Lorein, brother Leroy Gonzales, and niece Virginia Martinez.

He is survived by his son Mark (Valerie), stepdaughter who was raised as a daughter Dixie D. Brown, grandchildren Lucia, Mark, and Jared, two great grandchildren Alexis and Hailey DeVargas, sisters Isabel (Pablo) Gonzales, Margarita Brooks, along with several nieces and nephews.

Services for Percy will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at 11:00 am at St. Anthony Parish. Reception following Mass at the Parish Hall. Interment will be held at a later date.

Percy will be greatly missed and warmly remembered by all who knew him. 

We would like to express our gratitude for his caregivers Mark, Jared, Patricia, and Jeremay. His nurses Savanah and Inez for taking such wonderful care of our father. Thank you to Givings and Amber Care Hospice for all the wonderful care they provided for our father and also family and friends that were there until his passing.
