\r\nPEDRO A. GUTIERREZ, 100, a resident of Alcalde, passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Maria; wife, Eloisa Gutierrez; son, Moses Gutierrez; brothers, Henry, Tiburcio and Jose Gutierrez; sister, Sarah Jimenez; grandson, Mark Gutierrez; granddaughter, Natasha Mondragon and great-granddaughter, Larisa Nicole Garcia. Mr. Gutierrez is survived by his children, Lydia Quintana and husband Clovis, Mary Mondragon and husband Tony, Joseph Gutierrez and wife Carol and Mary Kirschmer; brother, Juan Gutierrez of San Antonio, Texas; 21 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; 27 great-great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a devotional service to follow at 6:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 23, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. also in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial to follow at the Loma Vista Cemetery in Alcalde. The family of Pedro A. Gutierrez has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.\r\n \r\n
