Age: 84

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Pauline Lillian Sanchez Jacquez, who passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones on December 22, 2025 at the age of 84.

Pauline was born on July 24, 1941 in Gallina, New Mexico, to Miguel Sanchez and Elena Chavez. Pauline was loved by many, and known for her loving personality and great cooking.

Pauline was a loving spouse, parent, grandparent, aunt and friend.

She was preceded in death by son Herman Jr.; granddaughter Celina Trujillo; siblings Eugenio Sanchez, Gavino Sanchez, Remigio Sanchez, Isaac Sanchez, Edwina Cordova, and Julia Payton.

Pauline is survived by her loving spouse Herman Jacquez; son Robert Garcia; daughters Yolanda Escobedo; and Julie Valdez; and partner Pedro Rendon; son Jeffery Jacquez, and daughter Joyce Morfin and son-in-law Nicholas Morfin. Pauline is also survived by eight grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren, as well as brother, Pascual Sanchez and many nieces and nephews whom she adored dearly. 

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, January 5, 2025, at 11:00 am at Christian Faith Fellowship Church in Gallina, NM.  Burial will take place at a later date.

The family of Pauline Jacquez would like to extend their gratitude to all those who have helped and shown their support through this difficult time.
