\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n PATROCINIA CASADOS, 87, a resident of Chamisal, passed away on Saturday, April 3, 2010 following a sudden illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Casimiro Casados; son, Lawrence H. Casados; grandchildren, Andres Casados, Dion Martinez and Kimberly Casados. Patrocinia was a devoted wife and mother. Mrs. Casados is survived by her children, Johnny Casados and wife Judy of Chamisal, Casey Casados and wife Flora of Chamisal, Michael Casados of Albuquerque, Jessie Martinez and husband Elmer of Dixon, Tonita Vigil and husband Bill of Albuquerque and Rufina Leyba and husband James of La Mesilla; brother, Rudolfo Romero of Chamisal; sister, Elvira Lopez of Ojito; brother-in-law, Jose Casados of Rio Lucio; sisters-in-law, Delia Lopez of Chamisal and Lugarda Sandoval of Rio Lucio; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. at the St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Peñasco with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated on Thursday, April 8, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. also at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Peñasco. Burial to follow at the Chamisal Catholic Cemetery. The Casados family has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley. \r\n
