PATRICIO ERNESTO ARCHULETA, 78, a lifelong resident of Embudo, New Mexico, went with our Lord on Wednesday, December 27, 2023.

Patricio is preceded in death by an unborn child; son Mario Archuleta; parents Amado and Domitila Archuleta; sister Amadita “Amy” Sanchez;  and brother Rudy Archuleta.

Patricio is survived by his children; Barbara Chaves (Walter), Sandra Bustos (Manuel), Pat Gene Archuleta (Nadine), Claire “Julie” Castillo (Gary); the mother of his children Nora Rodriguez; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Agripiana “Pana” Martinez (William), Adonais Archuleta (JoAnn), Orlinda Alewine (Carlton), Rudy Archuleta, Anita Lucy Archuleta, Eleanor Duda (Edward), Celso Archuleta (Diego), Frances Archuleta (Jose); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Patricio, a retired individual from Los Alamos County, found joy in horseback riding, farming, hunting, fishing, camping, and the outdoors. Even in retirement, he remained industrious showcasing his skills as a jack of all trades. Known for his willingness to help others. Patricio's legacy was one of adventure and hard work.

A Rosary will be recited Friday, January 12, 2024, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Dixon, New Mexico, at 10:00 am - 10:30 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm. Interment will follow at the Dixon Catholic Cemetery in Dixon, New Mexico.

His grandchildren serving as Pallbearers are: Angelia Trujillo, Justin Olguin, Jerrade DeAguero, Danielle Bustos, Pat Gene Archuleta Jr., Brandon Bustos, Amethyst Samora, and Aryana Quintero.

Honorary Pallbearers are his grand-daughters; Roxanne Juarez and Mariah Moreland; and his great-grandchildren, DeMarco and Karina Juarez, Annalia and Landyn Trujillo, HarleyAnn and Dusty Casados, Blair Bustos, LeAndra, Kamara and Kenny Moreland.
