Patricia Lucero

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Patricia "Patsy" Lucero on September 9, 2022. Patsy was born on March 1, 1944 to Salamon Lucero and Lucia Martinez in Chama, NM. Patsy later married Johhny Rael and had 4 children: Rupert Rael (Albuquerque, NM), Patrina Anderson (Greenville, TX), Barbara Samora (Chama, NM), Salamon Rael (Santa Fe, NM). Patsy remained in Chama and opened Patsy's Restaurant & Bakery and became a staple in the community due to her service in the church and singing engagements.

Patsy was preceded in death by her father Salamon, mother Lucia, brothers Eddie, Raymond and Manuel Lucero, grandson Nicholas Alcon and granddaughter Deanza Rael . Survived by her 4 children (Rupert, Patrina, Barbara, Sal), 5 siblings (Clarence Lucero, Gerald Lucero, Carla Lucero, Diana Lucero Wilson, & Joe Lucero), 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many other family and friends who loved her.

 A Rosary and Mass will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, October 1, 2022, at St. Patricks Church, in Chama, NM.
