Patricia Charlene Bybee Valdez

Patricia Charlene (Bybee) Valdez, 59, passed away after a lengthy illness on Thursday, November 16, 2023. 

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents Manuel and Ruth Salinas, her in-laws Bernardino and Castelita Valdez, brothers-in-law Benny and Mario Valdez and her niece Jessica Valdez.

Patricia is survived by the love of her life Gilbert (Berto) Valdez; her children Tammy Salinas, Robert Thomson, Gilbert Valdez Jr., Andrew Valdez, grandchildren John Salinas (wife Christian) and Contess Reyos; great grandchildren James Salinas and Johnny Vigil; sibling’s Manuel Salinas Jr. (wife Rosemary), Relda Fallis (husband William), Roberta Nylund (husband Mark); brothers and sisters-in-law Jose Valdez (fiancé Leslie), Esquipula James (wife Viola), Lisa Chavez and Virginia Romero; nephews and nieces Dominique Salinas, Noah Salinas, Keisha Salinas, Shianne Sinclair, Sierra Fallis, James Valdez (Melanie), Maria Valdez (Ryan), Benny Valdez and Santiago Valdez.

A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at 6:00 pm in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel at DeVargas Funeral Home in Espanola, NM.  A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at 10:00 am in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel at DeVargas Funeral Home in Espanola, NM.  Burial will take place at a later date.

Serving as Pallbearers are Santos Valdez, John Marcel Salinas, Bridget Fernandez, Santiago Valdez, Noah Salinas and Sierra Fallis.
