He is also survived by his very special sister Angelina Archuleta, along with brothers and sisters-in-law, whom he loved as family.
Pablo was born and raised in Pojoaque, New Mexico, and was a parishioner at Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe church for most of his life. He was an Army veteran and retired from Los Alamos National Laboratory after 34 years of service. Pablo worked in the Health, Safety, and Environmental Division. He traveled to Rocky Fort, Colorado; St. Louis, Missouri; California; New Orleans; Washington, D.C.; and the Nevada Test Site many times. He didn’t enjoy traveling and was always happy to return home to his wife, family, and horses.
He enjoyed gardening and farm animals, especially his horses, and liked riding mountain trails. He explored every trail in the Sangre de Cristo Mountain range with his sons and many good friends. He also appreciated fishing, camping, and hunting. His love for God and family has been his guiding force. He cherished his community and was involved, in his younger years, whenever he could be.
He was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society for many years, the Sociedad del Sagrado Corazón de Jesús for more than 40 years, and participated in the church choir. He was also involved in Marriage Enrichment, Weekends of Christian Living, and served as a minister of the Holy Eucharist. He and Toni were mayordomos at Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe Church and at the Sagrado Corazón de Jesús Church in Nambe. He was a past chairman of the board of trustees of the Jacona Land Association and a former member of the Santa Fe County ASCS Committee.
A Rosary will be recited at 9:00 am, with Mass to follow at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Nambe, NM, on Wednesday, December 10, 2025. Burial to follow at the Pojoaque Cemetery.
