Olympia Age - 77 Rodriguez

Olympia Rodriguez – passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2011 following a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by her sons: infant Juanito and Richard L. Rodriguez; parents: Olivama Alice and Marcial Vigil of Santa Fe; brothers: Johnny “Black” and Aggie Vigil; and sister, Flora Middleton. She is survived by her husband, Juan M. Rodriguez, Jr. of La Puebla; children: David P. Rodriguez and wife Katie and Arthur L. Rodriguez and wife Barbara both of La Puebla, Jonah O. Garcia and partner Tony Parks of Las Cruces, Judy Torres and husband Benny of Pojoaque, JoAnn Duran and husband Emilio of Rio Rancho, Yvonne L. Ulanowicz and husband Phil, Sally Rodriguez de Loya and Elizabeth Leeway and husband Jerome all of Albuquerque, Leonard M. Rodriguez of Phoenix, AZ, Darlene Rodriguez and companion Gilito Ortiz of Abiquiu, and June Rodriguez of El Rancho; 23 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; sisters: Gaby Lucero, Dorothy Lopez and husband Joe and Mabel Leyba all of Santa Fe and Roberta Vigil of Chimayo; brothers: Orlando Vigil and wife Mary Alice of Santa Fe and Sammy Vigil of Las Vegas, NM; brothers-in-law: Jake Rodriguez and wife Lori of Santa Fe and Remmy Roybal; Tia Rose Velarde of Albuquerque and Tio Delph Archuleta of New York; and numerous cousins, nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends. Rosary will be recited on Thursday, June 23, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Canada with Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Santa Cruz.
