\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n Morris Benjamin LopezAge 50, a resident of Espanola passed away on Saturday April 3, 2010 at the family home following extended illness. He was preceded in death by his father; Deacon Benjie Lopez, Niece; Angel Martinez and great-niece; Adreanna Chavez. He is survived by his daughters; Monica Lynn Lopez and fiancé, Jose Esquibel, ViviAnna Granger and husband Eric. 2 Grandsons; Nathaniel Lopez and Damien Esquibel. Mother; Lafie Lopez all of Espanola. Sisters; Lena Martinez and husband Andy of El Guique and Valerie Martinez and husband Urban of Alcalde. Brother; Jerome Lopez of Espanola. Nephews; Chris, Thomas, Aaron, Loren and Cameron Martinez, Jeremy and Isiah Lopez. Niece; Santanna Lopez. Special uncle; Ernie Lopez and wife Theresa of Dumas, Tx., Aunts; Annie Kear and husband Orville, Elvira Montoya, Helen Garitson, Julia (Lorenzo) Sanchez, Elsie Nolan; uncles, Alfonso, George, Mike (Eva), Joe and Nolan; great-nephews, Andrew, Dominic and Ethan Martinez. Public visitation will begin on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at 6:00p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a wake to follow at 7:00p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at 11:00a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Espanola with burial to follow at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. Assisting the family as pallbearers will be, Adolf Salazar, Dennis Valencia, Max Quintana, Mark Kear, Jimmy Martinez, and Larry Vigil. Honorary pallbearers are, Jose Esquibel, Eric Granger, Elmer Fresquez, Daniel Molina, Bernie Archuleta, Allen Chavez, Robert Martinez, Joseph Maestas, Richard Marquez, Bernice Romero, Angela Manzanares, June McCall, Anabelle Romero, and William Lucier.
