Morgan Jacquez, 27, a resident of Cuba, originally from Youngsville, NM, passed away on October 8, 2023.

He is preceded in death by grandfathers Richard Jacquez and Ernesto Maestas, and cousin Isiah Maestas.

He is survived by fiancé Kailee Casaus, parents Ray and Martha Jacquez, brothers Raymond Jacquez (Stasia) and Diego Jacquez, grandmothers Cleo Jacquez and Belen Maestas, aunts Amy Jacquez (Victor), Debbie Martinez (Gary) and Angela Maestas, uncle Dominic Maestas, mother-in-law Angela Cordova, sisters-in-law Sierra Casaus, Savannah Casaus, and Sydney Casaus, Fur baby Daisy and many nieces, nephews, God-children, cousins, and extended family.

Morgan will always be remembered for his contagious smile and his willingness to help everyone and anyone in need. Morgan was currently serving our country with the US Navy/Marines. The love Morgan had for his family, nieces, nephews, and God-children was endless. He adored them all. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

A public visitation will take place on Wednesday October 18, 2023 at 5:00 pm, and a rosary to follow at 6:00 pm at DeVargas Funeral Home in Espanola, NM. A mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday October 19, 2023 at 10:00 am in the St. Thomas Catholic Church in Abiquiu and burial will follow at the Youngsville Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Raymond Jacquez, Diego Jacquez, AJ Martinez, Kurt Isslieb, Steve Coyle, and Jonathan Valdez.
