Miguel Valdez

MIGUEL (MIKE) VALDEZ, 77, a resident of Ensenada NM, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2017. Miguel was preceded in death by his parents, George and Genara Valdez; brother, Alfonso Valdez, sisters, Ciria Cordova, Leonor Casias, and Helen Chacon. He is survived by his wife, Arlene Valdez of Ensenada; daughter, Michele Valdez of Alamosa CO, son, Michael Valdez of Denver CO, step-daughter, Janie (Mike Newell of Southlake TX, step-sons, Robert (Tracy) Marquez of Tijeras NM and Stephen Marquez of Denver CO; brother, Ramon (Margaret) Valdez of Denver CO, sisters, Margaret Martinez of Ensenada, NM, Maria D. Valdez of Denver CO, and Flora Valdez of Thornton CO, and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chama Community Church. Burial will be held at a later date. The family of Miguel (Mike) Valdez has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Espanola Valley. 505-747-7477
