Michael D. Salazar

Michael D. Salazar was born to Lala and Joseph Salazar on December 3, 1982. Michael was called to his eternal home on March 9, 2024. He loved spending time outdoors, hiking, fishing, hunting, and rock hunting.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Epifanio and Rose G. Salazar, his maternal grandparents Isaac and Margarita Lovato, uncles Agapito Salazar, Eppie Salazar, Juan Rafael Lovato, and aunt Ida Lovato.

Michael is survived by his daughter Savanah Salazar, his parents Joseph and Lala Salazar, his sister Monica Salazar and husband Jack Casias, his nephews Austin Salazar-Casias and Jaden Casias, uncle Isaac Lovato Jr. and wife Helen, aunt Marian Salazar, close cousins Renee and husband Ben Sandoval, Kenneth and wife Jamie Lovato, and Tamara and husband Francisco Lopez. 

Rosary will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. and Mass will be at 12:00 p.m. at the San Jose Catholic Church in Hernandez, NM.
