Medardo (Med) Benedicto Cordova

Medardo (Med) Benedicto Cordova, (64) Medardo (Med) Cordova was born to Benerito Cordova and Fidencia Barela on January 18^th, 1958, in Truchas NM. He served his country in the US Army, he was a hard worker, he worked for Los Alamos National Laboratory for 35 years, where he retired from. He loved to go fishing, hunting and just being outdoors and spending time with friends and family. He was preceded in death by his parents Benerito Cordova and Fidencia Barela, his son Medardo (Med) Anthony Cordova, Sisters Sarah and Isabel Cordova, and sister-in-law Irma Cordova, and other loving family. He is survived by his daughter Denie Cordova and companion Thomas, grandsons Isaiah & Devin Valdez, girlfriend Betty Lopez, Special Aunt Susie Barela, siblings Sheila Gonzales and husband Sam, Carol Duran And husband Robert, Rosendo Cordova, and companion Tenisha, Bobby Cordova and companion Carol, Sammy Cordova, Kathey Romero and Susan Cordova Abeyta, many aunts, nieces, nephews and loving family and special friends Phil Dominguez, Dio Dominguez, and Laurence Vigil. Medardo passed away at his home peacefully on Sunday, September 25, 2022, surrounded by his loving family and friends. Serving as Pallbearers are Isaiah Valdez, Devin Valdez, Rayben (Wedo) Sandoval, Joshua Cordova, Darrom Cordova, Michael (MJ) Bustamante, Phil Dominguez, and Dio Dominguez.

Service will be on Wednesday October 05, 2022 at 6:30pm in the Sangre de Christo Chapel at Devargas Funeral Home in Espanola, NM with a Wake to follow at 7:00pm. A service will be held on October 06, 2022 at 11:00am at the Truchas Baptist Church with a burial to follow at 12:00 at Los Llanitos Cemetery in Truchas, NM.
