Matthew D. - Age 18 - La Mesilla Sisneros

MATTHEW D. SISNEROS, 18, a resident of La Mesilla, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2011. He was preceded in death by his father, Matthew E. Sisneros; cousin, Sarabeth Montoya; uncle, Valentine Montoya and beloved dog, Tucker. He was a very passionate, spontaneous and loving person. He was full of life and crazy adventures. He was a talented artist. He enjoyed urban art, a large range of music from New Found Glory to Emmure and he loved body modifications and tattoos. He was also an animal lover and adored his dog, Lola. He will be greatly missed by his mom, family and many friends. Matthew is survived by his mother, Amy Vigil and husband Dennis of La Mesilla; sister, Amberly Sisneros of Las Cruces; step-brothers and sister: Dennis Vigil and wife Michelle and their children: David and Milan, Jesse Vigil, Erik Vigil and Diedra Vigil and fiancé, Jason Padilla and their son, Elijah; maternal grandparents, Benedito and Rose Montoya of La Mesilla; paternal grandparents, Anastacio and Eufelia Sisneros of Santa Cruz; aunts and uncles, JoAnne Martel of Santa Cruz, Janet Morgan of White Rock, Ernestine Montoya of La Mesilla, Sam and Debbie Montoya of La Mesilla, Nelson and Delfinia Montoya of La Mesilla, Michael and Veronica Sisneros of Santa Cruz and Jennifer Sisneros of Albuquerque; cousins, Eric, Austin and Justin Hoak, Maria, Raphael and Joaquin Montoya, Andrea and Natalie Montoya, Jessica and Alix Morgan, Nathan, Nikki, Mariah, Devin and Jayden Sisneros; very beloved pets, Lola, Babes, Sally, Tasca, Lucky and Kitty and numerous relatives and friends. Rosaries will be recited on Thursday, April 7, and Friday, April 8, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada Catholic Church in Santa Cruz. Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. also at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada Catholic Church. Burial to follow at the Holy Cross Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers, Raphael and Joaquin Montoya, Austin and Eric Hoak, Nathan Sisneros and Ian Earle. Honorary pallbearers named are, Justin Hoak, David Delgado, Derek Chacon, Joey Quintana, Orlando Giron, Lucio and Marcelino Juarez, Eric Chavez, Joseph Roybal, Santi R. and Jacob Serrano.
