We mourn the loss of our precious Mom, friend, Aunt, and grandmother. Mary was born September of 1947, passed on July 12.2026. 

She was preceded in death by daughter Sandra and son Gary, and is survived by eldest son Henry, and spouse Frank Bramlett, and youngest son Carlos and his spouse Pam, and a large family of nieces, nephews, and grandchildren, as well those she took under her wing.

Mary graduated from CNM, worked her way up to Director of Nursing at Santa Fe Care Center, and La Residencia and work at Sombrillo in Los Alamos. She was also one of the nurses assigned to care for Oppenheimer (who needs no introduction) at Los Alamos Medical Center.

But she will always be remembered for her sense of irony, her great sense of humor, and her bottomless well of love that she gave to family and friends, becoming a 2nd mother for those that needed it. She was a compassionate, and a tireless listener. Her smile and tight hugs will be missed by us all.

Her loves included Vallecitos, and sleeping under the stars, and hamburgers with Green Chili (no cheese!). She was a voracious reader of Westerns and a devotee to Clint Eastwood and of course Elvis.

Special love to niece Paul Chavez, who helped care for her at our home, and to niece Bonnie Chavez, who helped navigate the endless paperwork, and getting us in touch with those who could help. And of course to Rose, Inez, Yvonne, Colleen, Catarina, Roseanne, and others who visited often, or talked on the Phone.

We will never be able to fill the void in our hearts.
