Marty Valerio

Marty Dean Valerio, age 43, unexpectedly passed away, January 14, 2022. Marty was born in Los Alamos, NM and grew up in Chimayo, NM where he met, Monica. It was love at first sight. They started their family soon after with five children in eight years, married for sixteen years. Marty was an exceptional father, always telling his children he loved them, and although he and Monica were amicably separated they remained soul mates and co-parents to their children including a foster child who called Marty, “DADA.” He always did what he could for his children, picking them up from work or school, teaching them music, caring for them and always ending a phone call with “I love you with all of my heart.” Although he is in Heaven, he will always be in our hearts and minds, until we meet again. Marty is survived by his five children Aliciana, April, Randy, Marcus and Brooke AnnaDean; his parents Diolinda and Jose; his brothers Ricky and Joseph; his sister LindaMae. Marty will be deeply missed by his family and friends and his love for his family and music will never be forgotten.

A burial service will be held at The Assembly of God Cemetery in Cordova, NM, located ¾ of a mile west of Mountain View School, on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at 1pm.
