Marty Lopez

Marty C. Lopez passed away at the age of 60 on July 24,2022 at his home in Alcalde, NM with his love, companion, wife Christine by his side.  His parents Eddie and Melva preceded him in death. Brother Phil, his grandparents Luis and Rebecca Dias whom he loved very much, niece Pressy, Nephew Michael, Philiberto and Della Coscarella.

He is survived by his wife Christine, son Isaiah, sisters Renee (Randy), Myra and Becky, Nephews Phil Jr., Richard, Brian, goddaughter Monica and many loving relatives and friends.

Marty was a very good sportsman. He excelled in basketball and softball.  He had a passion for the outdoors.  He loved hunting, fishing and being in the mountains.  Marty loved his family, friends dearly and his dog Oppie.  His family and friends will greatly miss him.

The family of Marty would like to thank Erma Chavez, Melanie Trujillo and ADDUS Hospice for the constant care received.  Thank you Father Bernie and Deacon John Bird and the San Juan Bautista Church for the anointing and prayer. Thank you to Leroy Chacon for the beautiful eulogy and kind words. To the pallbearers that meant a lot to Marty. Service took place on July 27, 2022 at the San Juan Bautista Catholic Church and burial at the La Villita Cemetery.
