Martin Ulibarri

Martin D. Ulibarri, 36, a resident of Alcalde passed away on Monday, April 24, 2017. He was preceded in death by his father, Manuel Ulibarri; paternal grandparents, Jose and Magdalena Ulibarri; maternal grandparents, Celestino (Tiny) Espinoza and many other relatives. Martin was a beloved son, brother and companion.  He enjoyed fishing with his dad on boat outings. He had a true love for Spanish music, guitar playing and dancing. He was well known for playing in the Mariachi. Martin enjoyed going to church and bible study. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his mother, Charline Ulibarri; brother, Amos Santos Ulibarri; sister, April Ulibarri; love of his life, Cindy Gallegos and many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. A rosary will be recited on Monday, May 1, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ohkay Owingeh, with a Memorial Mass to follow at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be held at La Villita Cemetery. The family of Martin D. Ulibarri has entrusted the care of their loved one the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
