It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beautiful mother, daughter, sister, and aunt, Marsha Lynn Ester Lucero, 37, born March 18, 1981. Marsha was a resident of Chamisal who unexpectedly passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2018. She was such a free spirit, and the most loving person anyone could meet. She was always there for her loved ones when they needed a shoulder to lean on and made sure they knew she loved them all! She was beautiful, unique, and always had a smile and giggle that would make everyone around her happy. Our beautiful angel will truly be missed! Marsha is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents: George Sr. and Lillian Lucero and maternal grandparents: Sam Sr. and Ernestine Cordova. She is survived by her loving children: Jesse Lucero-Vigil (Gabriella Martinez), Katelynn and Adam Sanchez, Noah, Judas, and Jonah Herrera; Parents: George Jr. and Agnes Lucero; Sister: Loretta Lucero; Godparents: Wilbert Cordova and Victor and Geneva Dominguez; Nephews and Nieces: Andrew (Tanya) Lucero, Ashlee Lucero (Ernie Rodriguez), David Gonzales Jr. as well as many great nieces and nephews that she loved very much, and many other loving relatives, family, and friends. Public Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. Rosary will be held at the San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church in Peñasco on Monday, October 1, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place at the San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church on October 2, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with a burial to follow at the Chamisal Cemetery. Serving the family as pallbearers are Jesse Lucero-Vigil, Andrew Lucero, David Gonzales Jr., Robert Cordova Jr., Ashlee Lucero, Andreanna Lucero, Jacqueline Dominguez, LeeAnn Romero, and Ellena Fernandez.
