Maria Romero Cardoso, 73, a resident of Espanola passed away Saturday May 6, 2017. She is survived by her children Gabriella, Patricia, and Victor Andrade all of Espanola. Public visitation will begin on Monday, May 8, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Canada in Santa Cruz, with a burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.  The family of Maria Romero Cardoso has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home and Crematory of the Espanola Valley.www.devargasfuneral.com-505-747-7477
