Maria Aurora Casados, age 76, passed away peacefully on December 16th, 2020 at her residence in Ensenada N.M after a lengthy illness. Aurora was born November 27th, 1944 in Ensenada, NM and is preceded in death by her parents Alfonso and Higinia Valdez of Ensenada, N.M. She is survived by the love of her life, Tony Casados Jr. The couple married on January 23rd, 1965 which lasted for almost 56 years. She is also survived by two wonderful children: Her daughter, Cynthia Casados, husband Pat Terrazas; their two daughters Mia and Reina Terrazas; her son Anthony Casados, wife Patricia; their four children; Tommy and wife Jessica, their children; Jacob, Eli, Anabelle and Augustus. Carlos and wife Mariah, Cadie and husband Donnie Carrillo Jr., Cody and wife Marissa. She is also survived by her sister Sophie Valdez, her brother George Valdez and wife Olivia, sister-in-law Tina Garcia and husband Pete, brother in-laws, Carlos and wife Tess Casados, Peter and Norma Casados, and many nephews, nieces and extended family.. Aurora was a beautiful, forgiving, compassionate woman. She never failed to help others with whatever she could. Most importantly Aurora had faith in Jesus. Aurora’s devotion to her family and friends and her belief in God supported her, in her struggle and ultimately gave her peace. Aurora’s life has continued in Heaven where she will reunite with her loved ones. John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.” Throughout Aurora's life, she maintained a sweet and simple demeanor that won the trust and hearts of many, who even now are being changed by having witnessed her constant nurturing, love and faith. Her signature gift of joy, shown through her constant smiling, laughter and joking around, will never be forgotten. Rest in peace precious wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, relative and friend. You were such a blessed Angel in this world: Our Angel that lived, laughed and loved and now, an Angel in Heaven. Aurora’s family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support in many heart-felt forms from many people through prayer, visits and random acts of kindness. Services will be presided by Reverend Jimmy Martinez of the Chama Community Church at a later time, possibly early Spring or Summer.
