MARIA VIRAMONTES LIZZIE

MARIA ISABEL VIRAMONTES, LIZZIE, 79, born on November 24, 1940 in El Paso Texas, after 79 years she went to be with our Lord on Saturday, January 11, 2020. In her peaceful morning sleep, Angels wrapped their wings around her. When Lizzie was out and about she always wore her pink helmet.  Lizzie was preceded in death by her parents, Isabel and Pablo Viramontes; sisters, Dolores E. Rodriguez, Lupe Shamy, brother, Eddie Viramontes. Lizzie is survived by her sisters, Daisy and husband Joe Hernandez, Terry and husband Ismael Ortega, brother, Pablo and Rachel Viramontes; niece, Irene Olivas who was her caregiver 24/7. She has provided Irene with many blessed memories, and many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews. Irene is grateful to the staff of New Mexico Quality care for their selfless care, concern and services for Lizzie. A rosary will be recited on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Alcalde.  Memorial mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Alcalde, about 10 miles north on Taos High-way. Lizzie will be taken to El Paso, Texas to be laid to rest with her mother.
