Maria Adelicia Roybal-McGarry was born on May 15, 1934 in Santa Fe, NM and died August 31, 2026 in Elephant Butte, NM. She is survived by her children; John Valdez, Carl McGarry, Victoria McGarry, and Toby McGarry, grandchildren; Kati Valdez, William Pirtle, David Pirtle, and Mario Hernandez, great granddaughter Willow Pirtle, Siblings Leonard Roybal, Sam Roybal, and Roger Roybal.

Preceded her are her husband Joseph T McGarry, and her children Mark Valdez and Carmella Hernandez, siblings Toby Roybal, Waldo Roybal, and Santiago "Jim" Roybal.

Services will be at the Sacred Heart Church in Nambe on Wednesday September 9. Rosary at 9:30 and the mass at 10 am.
