Maria Eva Angelina (Vangie) Maestas

Evangeline left this world on February 24, 2022 she was born on January 17, 1937 in Pecos, NM. She married and moved to Holman, NM where she lived the rest of her life serving as a Postmaster first in Holman, and then in Mora, NM until retirement. Vangie was a faithful member of the St. Gertrude parish, where she was a proud member of the choir. She is predeceased by her parents Guillermo and Luz Roybal, the father of her children Cirilio Maestas, and Manuel Ulibarri, her daughter Christella, her grandson Adam and her great-granddaughter Lena Marie.

She is survived by her children - daughters Jamie Ulibarri, and Annette(Kenneth)Maestas.  Her sons -Herbert, Paul, Richard Maestas and Joaquin(Lorinda)Manuel. Grandchildren - Amorette, Lauren Paul(Sarah), Domingo, Jason, Andrea, Adryana, Marissa(Adam), Benny Mario(Selena), Mariah, Jacqueline, Erin, Kaylyn, Lauren, and Steven.  Great-grandchildren - Luzia, Runningdeer, Sebastian, Sarah, Darrin, Anissa, Cienna, Lilah, Laila, Alijah, Kamryn, Landen, Ayriss, Saint, Adam Gabriel II and Keon.

Services will be held on April 9, 2022 at St Gertrudes Catholic Church in Mora, NM with a rosary at 9:30 followed by a funeral mass.
