Maria Frances Archuleta

Maria Frances Archuleta, 80 of El Rito, NM, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a giving person known for her love and kindness, especially to her grandchildren. Frances loved to entertain and cook for her family. Her spunk and kindness will not be forgotten.

Frances was proceeded in death by her Parents Juan Antonio Ocana and Camilla (Jaramillo) Ocana, Her son Antonio G. Archuleta, Grandchildren James Archuleta, Camile Archuleta, Rick Archuleta, Sharon Ortiz and Ryan Gallegos. Siblings Sophia Archuleta, Hortencia Ocana Saliaz, Elizida Martinez, Asencion Valdez, Soraida Herrera and Cosmes Ocana and a special Uncle Ismael Jaramillo.

Frances is survived by her Husband Ted Archuleta, Children Levie Archuleta, (Phyllis), Linda Archuleta, Lisa Martinez, (Frank)

Grandchildren: Jessica Brown (Michael), Leon Archuleta (Kellie), Eric Archuleta (Dee), Shanea Lucero (Nathan) and many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews that loved her. Special thanks to Eloida her hospice nurse.

Services will be held Saturday Oct 4, 2025, at San Juan Nepomunceno Church in El Rito. Public viewing at 8:00a.m. with a Rosary at 9:00a.m. and a Mass at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at El Rito Community Cemetery.
