Margaret Duran, 72, a resident of Santa Fe, New Mexico, passed away on February 15, 2026, at the Taos Care Center.

She was preceded in death by her partner, Mary Ann Vargas, her parents, Manual and Eloida Duran, her natural parents Jose and Mary Apodaca, as well as her sister Anita Ortiz.

She is survived by sisters, Linda Trujillo (Fidel) of Espanola, New Mexico; Crestella Torres (Carlos); Vivian Lujan (Art); Becky Goodson (Starr); brothers Andrew Apodaca and Frank Apodaca (Teresa); all of Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Rosary and mass will take place at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Espanola on Friday, March 20, 2026. Rosary will be held at 10:30 a.m. with Mass to follow at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will take place at a later date.
