Marcy Vigil

Marcy Connie Vigil, 49 a resident of Ojo Caliente went to be with the Lord on Tuesday February 8, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents Joe and Marcella Lopez, her brother Michael Lopez and father-in-law Willie “Jake” Vigil Jr. Throughout her life, Marcy devoted most of her time caring for her family and close friends. She was selfless in her ways and worked with kids providing Occupational Therapy. Marcy is survived by her beloved husband of 21 years, Marty Vigil and her sons Brandon Vigil and Nathaniel Ortiz (Breanna and Owen), siblings Leon Lopez (Tanya), Joey Lopez, her nieces, mother-in-law Ruby Maes (Robert), Grandma Maggie Maes, godson Joseph Maes, and many other close family and friends. The family would like to thank the healthcare team at Los Alamos Medical Center. Serving as pallbearers are Marty Vigil, Brandon Vigil, Nathaniel Ortiz, Matthew Bustos, Joseph Martinez and Salamon “Sal” Mares.

A rosary will be recited on Tuesday February 22, 2022, at 10:15 a.m. and a mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Canada and burial to follow at the Holy Cross Cemetery
