Marco Talamante

Marco Ronald "Mark" Talamante, also known as "Manky", age 54, a resident of Medanales, passed away peacefully after a long term illness on Friday, November 5, 2021, he was surrounded by his loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Alfredo Talamante Sr. and Maria Angelita Talamante; maternal grandparents Alcario and Emma Trujillo, father Alfredo Talamante Jr, and brothers Gerald and Steven Talamante.

He is survived by his mother Rufina Duran, sisters Linda Trujillo, Lori Ann Martinez Talamante, Lupe Duran, and Jolyn Duran. Special nieces and nephews he raised as his own, Vanessa Cordova(Nelson Cordova), Leonard Padilla, Aaliyah (Ramiro Suarez Jr.) and Kiara Garcia, Aubrey, Rowen and Ricco Cordova, Uriah and Amariah Talamante, Daniel Padilla and Ramiro Adam Suarez III. Close cousins Mary Ann and Julian Trujillo, Eugene , Julie and Sami Trujillo, Paul Sisneros, and Emmanuel "Matt" Martinez. His close friends James "Beaver" Garcia, Raymond "Rhythem" Gallegos, and his beloved dog "Trueno" as well as many other friends and relatives.

Mark was an outdoorsman. He loved teaching his nieces and nephews how to fish. He also loved to hunt and go for wood, and pinon. He was the type of person to give you his shirt off his back. Mark loved animals.

A public visitation will take place on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at 4:30 pm at the DeVargas Funeral Home. Mass of the Christian Burial will take place on Saturday November 20th at 10:00am at San Antonio Catholic Church in Medanales, burial will take place at the San Antonio Catholic Church Cemetery.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Uriah and Amariah Talamante, Mary Ann, Eugene, Julian, and Sami Trujillo, Ramiro, R. Adam Suarez, Ricco, Aubrey and Rowen.

Pallbearers will be Vanessa Cordova, Leonard Padilla, Aaliyah and Kiara Garcia.
