Marcella Medina

Our beloved Marcella G. Medina, went to be with the Lord on August 16, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.  Marcella was born on March 29, 1937 to Frank and Calicia Medina, from Dixon, NM. Marcella is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Calicia Medina; her daughter Connie Reynolds and son-in-law, Chris Reynolds; brother, Clarence Medina; sister, Betty Reynolds; nephews, Christopher and Daniel Martinez and Jerome Reynolds.

Marcella is survived by her loving grandsons, Christopher Reynolds (Chantelle) and Randy Reynolds (Alyssa); sisters, Helen Martinez and husband, Amado from Velarde, Dolores Sherman and husband David from Dixon; sister-in-law, Josie Medina from Dixon and brother-in-law, Charley Reynolds from Los Luceros. Her Comadre, Neri Reynolds of San Pedro; two special nieces, Jacqueline Martinez of Velarde and Cindy Garcia and husband Ted of Ojo Caliente; nieces, Karen Diaz, Annette Reynolds, Michelle Medina; nephews, Freddie Medina and Clarence Medina Jr.; great-nieces, Alexandria Garcia and husband, Adrian, Erica Diaz, Shauntae and Amarissa Quintana, Amberly Vigil and husband, Travis, Katie Medina, Jalyssa Knitter; great nephews, Frankie, Freddie and Jason Medina; great great nieces, Adrianiyah Garcia and Ella Medina.

Marcella was a loving grandmother who raised her two grandsons.  They were the love of her life. She was a very religious person, always praising the Lord. She enjoyed going to church as well as gathering at the Senior Citizens Center with all her friends whom she loved dearly. She will be greatly missed by her family and everyone that knew her.  Public visitation will be held on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory in Espanola with a devotional service to follow at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 20, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Peace of DeVargas Funeral Home in Espanola with a burial to follow at the Apostolic Praise Temple Cemetery in Dixon. Serving the family as pallbearers are Christopher Reynolds, Randy Reynolds, Freddie Medina, Clarence Medina Jr., Adrian Garcia and Ted Garcia. Honorary pallbearers are all her nieces and nephews.
