Manuel Sandoval

MANUEL SANDOVAL, 40, a resident of Cordova formerly of Los Angeles passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2017. Manuel was preceded in death by his father, Henry Cerda; padrino, Robert Sandoval; grandparents, Enrique and Estella Cerda, Damian and Frances Sandoval; father-in-law, Candido Romero; grandchildren, Mariah Penate, and Nathaniel Walker; sister, Raycheal; uncle, Rene and numerous relatives and friends. Manuel was a kind, loving, and caring husband, father, brother and friend. He had a heart like no other and was always willing to help in any way he could. He would give the shirt off his back if he needed to. He had a unique personality that was hard to find. Family meant everything to him and if you weren’t family you were sure to become family to him. Manuel is survived by his wife, Faith Sandoval; children, Keyana Martinez (Andrew), Renae, Manuel Jr., Kayla, Alyana, Mia, Sienna, Jazarae Sandoval and Layla Manzanares; mother, Betty Jean Sandoval; siblings, Isaac Saco (Celeste), Michael, Bobby, Gilbert, Richie, Kiki, David, Christina, Veronica, Valerie, Desiree, Angel, Sherrie, Adrian, Robert Jr. (Isabel), Faith (Jerome), Cordy (Brian), Fabian Romero (Kimber), Ceasar, and Nathan; aunts, Geraldine, Sandra, Lydia, Rosina, Benina, Olivama, Elaine, Debra, Sylvia, Hilda, Letty and Grace; uncles, Henry (Joyce), Zebedeo (Bertha), Pete (Nancy), Danny (Yvonne), Ruben and Jesus; nieces and nephews, Damian, Henry, Gilbert, Candi, Layla, Jameson, Connor Logan, Elijah, Ethan, Lexy, Shania and Bethany; Godchildren, Amada and Shane; in-laws: mother-in-law, Ida Romero; grandparents, Arsenio and Bernie Romero, Arolinda Martinez; aunts, Eileen, Bernice, Cindy (Alvaro); uncle, Victor, the Dominguez family and numerous other relatives and friends whom he loved dearly. Public visitation will begin on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at 6:00 p. m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at the San Antonio Catholic Church in Cordova. Burial to follow at the San Antonio Catholic Cemetery in Cordova with the following serving as pallbearers, Jerome Arellano, Brian Griego, Josh Sandoval, Shane Binion, Robert Sandoval, Jr. (Bito), Fabian Romero, Saco Isaac Padilla, Richie Cerda, Danny Sandoval, Jr., Devon Romero and Adrian Sandoval.  The family asks that any donations are greatly appreciated and can be made at DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. The family of Manuel Sandoval has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Espanola Valley.
