He also embraced the role of an amazing father-in-law, generously sharing wisdom and laughter. His genuine nature and deep well of compassion left an indelible mark on his family.

Ricky’s passions were many and reflected his creative spirit and skilled hands. He found solace and excitement in fishing and delighted in the art of drawing—especially cars, a lifelong fascination. He had a talent for mechanics, and many in his family remember him as the go-to person for fixing things or offering knowledgeable advice. Puzzles challenged and entertained him, serving as moments of quiet focus, while his love of cars remained a constant from his youngest days.

Although he was a private man, Ricky’s impact on those closest to him was profound. His family remembers him for his unwavering support, his humor, and his loyalty.

As Ricky’s family mourns his passing, they also celebrate a life well-lived—a life defined by love and dedication. In the words of his surviving family: “Dad, I’m sorry. I love you and I will always regret the time we didn’t get to spend together, but I cherish the time we did share. I am saddened by your passing and will miss you so much. Dad, even though things were left unsaid, you know exactly how much you meant to me, my kids, my wife, and the entire family."
