Maggie Dominguez

Margarita “Maggie” Dominguez, born on June 12, 1924 in Chamisal, NM to Victoriano and Casimira Dominguez, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at the age of 97, peacefully, with her family by her side.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Eufelia (Willie) Rodriguez, Pilar Dominguez, Clora (Reynaldo) Lopez, brother Bialquin Dominguez, two brothers who died in childhood, Rogerio and Orlando Dominguez, grandaughter Tina Lopez, great-great grandson Alexavier Lucero, nephews Willie Rodriguez Jr., Orlando Lopez, and niece Clyda Dominguez.

She is survived by her children, daughter Andrea (Erminio) Lopez, sons Edwin (Shirley) Dominguez, Victor (Geneva) Dominguez, Dan (Marlyn) Dominguez, granddaughter whom she considered her daughter, Anita Lucero, 17 other grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, 17 great-great grandchildren, and many other nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family of Maggie Dominguez would like to thank all those who helped care for her during her final years, all those who came to visit her, and all those who prayed for her, may God bless you all.

A visitation will take place at the DeVargas Funeral Home of Espanola on January 11, 2022 at 9:00 am, Services will follow at the Emmanuel Presbyterian Church in Peñasco, NM followed by internment at the Chamisal Community Cemitary.
